Age Verification section

This section was introduced in version 4.1

The “Age Verification” section ensures that visitors to the site are above the required age to access certain content or products. You can customize its appearance and position, as well as configure storage settings so that it doesn’t appear again for users who have already verified their age.

Section settings

Content

Image: Select or upload an image for the age verification section. You can also browse free images via the “Explore free images” link.

Image Position: Choose the position of the image relative to the container (Top, Left, or Right). The image position can differ on the desktop view.

• Top: The image will appear at the top, with the container (title and other content) placed below it.
• Left: The image will appear on the left side, with the title and other content placed on the right side.
• Right: The image will appear on the right side, with the title and other content placed on the left side.

Layout

Width (px): Set the width of the age verification section in pixels.

Position: Select the position of the age verification section on the screen. The available options are:

• Center: The age verification section will be placed at the center of the screen.
• Bottom Left: The age verification section will be placed at the bottom left corner of the screen.
• Bottom Right: The age verification section will be placed at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Delay: Set the delay (in seconds) before the age verification appears to the user.

Hide on mobile: Enable to hide the age verification on mobile devices.

Hide for logged-in customers: Enable to hide the age verification for customers who are logged in.

Show close button: Enable to allow users to close the age verification section.

Storage

Remember verification: Saves the verification status to prevent showing the age verification again.

Storage Expiration: Adjust the number of days before the age verification appears again for the user. After this period, the verification will be shown again to ensure the user’s age is verified.

Colors

Color Scheme: Select the color theme for the age verification section.

Heading

Heading: Set the title for this section. This is optional.

Heading Size: Select the heading size. Options: Small, Normal, Large, Extra Large, and Extra Extra Large.

Text

Text: Enter the text that will appear in the age verification section. This text can include instructions or information related to verifying the user’s age.

Text Size: Choose the size for the text from options like Small, Normal, and Large.

Buttons

“Yes” Button Label: Set the label for the “Yes” button.

“No” Button Label: Set the label for the “No” button.

Rejection Message: Enter the message that will be displayed when the user clicks the “No” button.
