Tabbed media with text section

This section was introduced in version 2.2

The “Tabbed media with text” section on your Shopify store provides a dynamic way to showcase multiple content blocks that users can easily navigate through using tabs. This feature is perfect for presenting different features of a product, services, or any content that benefits from a compact and organized display.

Section settings

Colors

Color scheme: Select one of the predefined color schemes as defined in Theme settings > Colors. For more information regarding the color schemes please refer to our article about creating your own color scheme.

Section spacing

The section spacing settings gives you the option to adjust the top & bottom section spacing values. Please note: If you select a color scheme with a background color, these settings will affect the spacing between the top or bottom of the section and the content of the section.

Media with text block

This section consists of “Media with text” blocks with the following settings:

Tab label: The text entered here will be displayed as the tab’s title on the store. It acts as a navigation label for the users to click on and view the associated “Media with text” block.

Heading: This is the main title for the particular “Media with text” block.

Heading size: Allows you to choose the size of the block’s title.

Text: This editable text field is where you can add detailed descriptions or information related to the media.

Text size: Select the size of the body text that accompanies the media. You can choose from ‘Small’, ‘Normal’, or ‘Large’, which helps in maintaining readability according to your layout and design preference.

Button label: Defines the text that will be displayed on a call-to-action button within the block. Leaving this blank will hide the button.

Button link: Here you can provide the URL that the button will direct to, such as a product page, a contact form, or any external link.

Image: This setting allows you to select an image to accompany your text. If a video is used, the image will serve as the video’s cover.

Video URL: If you wish to use a video, the URL can be inserted here. The supported platforms are YouTube and Vimeo.

Layout – Media placement: This determines whether the media appears to the left or right of the text. Only applies to desktop. In smaller screens the media will always come first.

Layout – Content alignment: Align the text content within the block to the left, center, or right.
