Media with text section

The media with text section is a flexible section that gives you the ability to display media (image or video) along with a heading, description, button and a caption. Useful for creating call to action sections on your shop.

Section settings

Image: Set the image that will be displayed on the section. Note that if you add a video, this image will act as the video’s cover.

Video URL: Paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL if you want to turn this into a video with text section.

Media placement: Choose whether you want the media or the text to be displayed first (Media first or Text first). It only applies to desktop.

Content alignment: Choose the alignment of the context (title, description, and button). Available settings are left, center, and right.

Colors

Color scheme: Select one of the predefined color schemes as defined in Theme settings > Colors. For more information regarding the color schemes please refer to our article about creating your own color scheme.

Section spacing

The section spacing settings gives you the option to adjust the top & bottom section spacing values. Please note: If you select a color scheme with a background color, these settings will affect the spacing between the top or bottom of the section and the content of the section.

Section blocks

Heading

Heading: Set a title for this section.

Heading size: Select the size of the heading (“Small”, “Normal”, “Large”, “Extra large”).

Text

Content:  Set the description for this section.

Text size: Select the text size (“Small”, “Normal”, “Large”).

Button

Button label:  Set the button label.

Button link: Set where should your button link to (page, collection, product, external link, etc).

Caption

Text:  Set a small tagline.

Page

Page: Optionally, display the content of the page.
