Rich text section

Last update:

The rich text is a section that gives you the ability to display simple content (title, description, and button). Useful for simple call to actions or any kind of announcements.

Section settings

Make section narrow: Choose whether the content will span the entire width of the page or be narrower.

Image: Optionally upload an image as a background on the entire section. The background is fullwidth and will cover the section edge to edge.

Overlay background: Optionally choose a color or gradient as an overlay background for the entire section.

Layout

Content alignment: Choose between “Left” or “Center” for the alignment of the section’s content.

Container width: Select either “Wide” or “Full” for the section’s container width. Choosing “Wide” extends the section a few pixels beyond the page’s boundaries on the left and right, whereas “Full” expands the section to cover the entire width of the viewport. This setting is designed to work along with a color scheme that contrasts the base background (i.e. Accent colors or Background 2).

Colors

Color scheme: Select one of the predefined color schemes as defined in Theme settings > Colors. For more information regarding the color schemes please refer to our article about creating your own color scheme.

Section spacing

The section spacing settings give you the option to adjust the top & bottom section spacing values. Please note: If you select a color scheme with a background color, these settings will affect the spacing between the top or bottom of the section and the content of the section.

Section blocks

This section consists of four different blocks. While you can only use once each one, you are free to only use some of them.

Heading: The heading of the section.

Text: The rich text description of the section.

Button: An optional button of this section. It will link anywhere you point it to using the “Link” field.

Page: Use this block if you would like to show the content of a page, inside this section. The page’s editor is more flexible and larger, so it is better suited for longer content than the “Text” block.
