Athens 1.10 – Custom badges, zoom on hover and more

The latest version of our Athens theme is live and we’re really excited to announce cool new features:

Custom badges

Introducing “Custom Badges,” the latest feature enhancement to Athens, allowing you to highlight products in all product listing pages. This function lets you add up to two unique badges on your product cards, giving you the flexibility to showcase specific attributes or promotional elements.

Whether you want to highlight a best-seller, a newly added offer, an eco-friendly product, or any other unique selling point, Custom Badges make it easier for your customers to identify what makes each product special.

Zoom on hover

Enhance your customers’ browsing experience with the new “Zoom on Hover” feature. This intuitive functionality allows your shoppers to take a closer look at product images without having to open them in a separate lightbox. Simply hover over the image, and it will automatically zoom in, revealing intricate details, textures, and features of the product! It works seamlessly alongside the existing lightbox functionality, so your customers still have the option to click on the image to view it in a larger, isolated frame if they prefer. General enhancements

As usual, this release includes general maintenance items like fixes for minor issues, improvements in languages, and other additions like a new WhatsApp social icon. Check out the changelog for the full list.
